Dutch National Police: No Detail Too Small

As Artec profiles in this case study, the national police force in The Netherlands has been making use of 3D scanners of various types to document crime scenes. These scans enable fine-toothed investigation by capturing even the smallest details as close to an incident as possible. The Dutch legal system also allows scanned evidence to be presented in the courtroom, so these digital duplicates are now helping to bring criminals to justice.
